Evening Gents, my name is Keith Blackham and I use the handle 'Citation Ten' (cannot stand the term 'Slicer'). I live in a small village near ilminster, Somerset. I am lucky enough to have a daughter who works for EK as CC, so as a result, I have been fortunate to travel quite extensively, especially over the last five years. I'm a retired 'Banker', but do not get me mixed up with £1m bonuses!! Like many on here I'm into civil airliners, bizjets and Mil Transports and I'm also a big photographer and also like others I have a flickr account which can be found at www.flickr.com/photos/citationten/. I've been spotting since 1968 but took a sabbatical from the hobby when I worked in the Channel Islands for 5 years having also got married. As a result I 'started again' and haven't looked back since. Whilst my local is Exeter, I am not a regular visitor there, Bristol is visited very occasionally (I try to get there when they are on Easterlies as better for pics), but as I and my wife both come from Hertfordshire, I am reasonably regular at Luton; LHR; Northolt and Farnborough as they all fit in with our frequent visits to the In-Laws at St. Albans. My last visit to FAB was yesterday (20/10/15) and I found out about this group whilst looking to resolve a query - which I did. I'm on ALST; Luton; RWY26 (Exeter) & LHR Groups. I look forward to contributing as and when I can. www.flickr.com/photos/citationten/

We have a nephew who lives in Farnborough so have 3 or 4 long weekends in the year.Have found the site invaluable and extremely helpful for finding out missing movements, for that a big "Thank you".I will try a not get you all excited by posting bogus arrivals in the future.

No probs Paul, the more posts the merrier. N626JS certainly looked good for FAB for a while. I usually have problems with Beech King Airs and PC12s. If I see one over Guildford and suggest that it's inbound Farnborough, it usually ends up at Fairoaks, and visa-versa.

Hi Tony lives in West End Woking (inbound FAB is excellent) Was a total spotter 1965-1973 (only civil) Worked for an airline for 35 years and aviation is in my blood thanks to my dad with a visit to LHR North approx 1963. The sound of a prop usually sends me to the door and the use of a comp for a reg is a god send (my days were hit and miss going to an airport) This site is truly remarkable and my congrats to the founders. ps still using my Hilkinson Pancratic and still irritating my wife legging outside at the sound of props (still total aviation)

Hi Tony
Hilkinson Pancratic? Remember it well, I still have one and keep it in the boot of my car for emergencies. ;-)
Glad you like our Forum.

Hi from New Zealand. Needless to say but you can guess from my user name that I am originally from Manchester. Spent many days at the "old" Ringway then Heathrow before moving to NZ. Work in the Corporate Jet industry in Christchurch (NZCH / CHC) since July 1999. Really envious of the amount of corp aircraft in England. Will be visiting April / May 2017.

Hi Ringway
Glad to learn our board is on your radar around the other side of the planet. I'm sure some of the more mundane stuff you get to see in NZ would have us frothing at the mouth over here. Although there are plans afoot, I only wish we could have a Mossie flying in our skies again. You've practically got Leavesden Mk2 over there on the north island.

Hi Bob
A belated welcome aboard the good ship FAB to you and to all other new-ish and not so new members, young and old.
Obviously, forums like this one rely on input from its members and guests, so the greater the input, the greater interest it's likely to be to those that make use of the board.
Any aviation-related news, info., rumours, sightings, logs, and photos are welcome, no matter how brief, or where it relates.
Happy enthusiasting for the remainder of 2016. Hasn't it flown!

Hi, thought I'd also introduced myself - apparently not! Name is Dylan Grant from Southampton, however often in Portsmouth (wrong end of the M27) with my Grandad, who got me into spotting 6 years ago now. Often seen around the local fields in a Suzuki SX4, no doubt it'll be muddy from the off-road airfields! Collect anything that flies really (no, not birds or paper planes). Regular contributor to the AFA forum and FR24 Database updator...
Kind Regards Dylan
