Hi guys...
First off a thanks to Ken and Dave for getting this new forum up and running so hastily after the sudden demise of the last, a real shame but I think we can make this one as good, if not better.
My names Antony, based down in Southampton but I'm a regular at FAB aswell up at Luton and anywhere you'll find Bizjets, my main passion. A keen photographer of such, been shooting now for only about 4 years and collecting biz frames for at least 15+ years.
I'm quite often found down at Hercules way with Eric, Ken, Paul and the other regulars or up at the bridge in easterlies whenever I can get up. Had another recent arrival of our own 10 weeks ago and with our other daughter coming up two it's increasingly hard getting any spare time!! Lol.
Cheers and keep up the good work lads...
Ant

Well what good looking lot we are! As you may guess I am Rob Belcher, have lived in Farnborough sine 1997 and have visited pretty much every day since, work allowing, which is not allowing much spotting at the moment. I am a member at Lasham so have airside access there. Also an author having had a book published on Blackbushe and looking for a publisher for a more comprehensive book on the airport.. Photos on flicks, not that im a serious photographer www.flickr.com/photos/farnboroughrob/Rob

Hi Everyone My name is James and I currently live in Worcester which largely has plane-free skies! I work in Birmingham though so can visit BHX whenever anything good appears. I'm originally from Woking and still go back regularly enough and also travel about which keeps the spotting appetite satisfied. My favourite airport is Heathrow, always has been and always will be, although Gatwick in the late 90's is home to my earliest spotting memories. I definitely wish I'd had a camera from that first day up on the spotting terrace at Gatwick onwards, however, I love seeing all the classic photos that people share on Flickr and other sites. I have uploaded a few photos myself, please have a look... www.flickr.com/photos/98533153@N04/

Well done everyone behind the scenes.
Living in Esher, family and work commitments allowing I visit EGLF and our other local airports when I can with camera in hand. After starting my working life in 1988 at Dan-Air at Gatwick working in assorted ground handling and commercial roles including visiting what was once Dan-Air engineering at Lasham, I switched to aviation IT and currently work at Heathrow looking after assorted IT systems for a number of UK airlines. My first interest in aviation was cycling as a schoolboy in the early 1980s from Guildford to Fairoaks during school holidays , Heathrow visits when the terrace was open and I've attended every Farnborough show since the mid 1970s.

Hi everyone, my name is Graham (aka eglf_aviation) and I've been an aviation nut since my first Farnborough in 1972. Even during the years I gave up spotting (82-96) when I was busy racing canoes and racing or delivering yachts I still kept my flight log going and took the occassional aircraft photo.
Nowadays I'll log and photograph anything aeronautical that has an engine and is at low level, e.g. not gliders, balloons or dots. I'm also one of the GA editors for the Planebase logging application (www.planebase.biz) which keeps me busy as I look after types as diverse as Auster, Yakovlev's and Fletchers!
One advantages of working for BA for over 35 years, I did my Avionic apprenticeship wiith British Airways (Overseas Division) before moving into their fledgling IT department for the next 29 years, is my staff concessions, which I try and make the most of., Since "semi reiring" My target has being at least two long distance spotting trips a year. Photo's of which can be found in the trips folders of my photo web site (www.grahamcevans.piwigo.com)

aka Bill Teasdale, usually to be found at White Waltham, where I am a member, and a regular visitor to Popham, usually as a passenger in the ubiquitous G-ALEH, until the sad demise of the owner last November. Have been regularly trawling local fields since 1961, in search of the few remaining active G-A... that I haven't seen or photographed. As most of these field are naturally locked up and inactive in the winter months I turn my attention to LHR, Farnborough and Luton, where aviation is guaranteed. Still one of the old school who doesn't own an SBS, and relies on binoculars !

I'm Dave Hopkins - member of the former "Plymouth Mafia" now living in NW London. I am a fairly regular visitor to Eelmoor and known to many in the old boys club there. Been spotting more years than I care to remember, I still enjoy "taking numbers", photography and the great company of like minded individuals.
Here's the the success of this group

Good Morning All
As you can tell from the Avatar my name is Adrian and I Live in Sandhurst, Berks - I have been spotting since a young age ( 15 Yrs ) and am still going strong despite several setbacks. Interest came from Dad who was RAF for 25 Years, do not out get out as often as would like due to medical reasons & Girlfriend, however into dot spotting when the opportunity arises, regular visits (In Summer)to LHR, Blackbushe, Popham + Redhill where a friend of mine works, and she always gets me around the airfield, did Oshkosh last year, nothing planned for this year so far apart, from getting engaged........
Cheers

Hi All, As the Avatar suggests I live inside Shoreham's circuit although most of my spotting is done out and about the south of England with a few trips to mainland Europe each year sprinkled in. Cheers Ian
