Happy enthusing

Hello Have lived in Farnborough and Fleet all my life. As a child my interest in aviation was kindled at school watching RAE Hunters, Buccaneers, Jaguars, Hercules, Dakotas, Canberras and Comets doing circuits. Those were the days cycling around the airport in my school holidays even seeing aircraft landing on runways that are now no longer in use.

hi, i live up in the north midlands (Gods country), started spotting in late 50's, my first Farnborough show in 1962... usually manage visiting 2-3 times a year, before the dreaded lurgo hit us, its a bit of a trek by train for 2-3hrs. I visited Wed. 1st Sept. as i,'m holidaying on the IoW, my first visit anywhere since early 2019, and the pleasure of again peering through a chain link fence was great...
stay safe, regards, dave...

Hello, just a quick introduction. My name is Dave Newman, 67, now retired thank God, so hopefully have more time for spotting. Live in Newbury so visit FAB for a pleasant day out. As warmer weather comes will spend time at LHR and the usual smaller airfields. Thank you for letting me join.

Hi My name is Steve, I've been a long time lurker on the forum, always enjoyed reading the info posted. I have a casual interest in aviation, and like to film aircraft that catch my eye, I work near Shoreham airport, so get to see the occasional unusual visitor, mostly military helicopters, plus quite a few bizjets heading for Farnborough fly close by, hoping I can get up to Farnborough more often in the future.

Hi I’m Mike, I’ve been an aviation enthusiast for nearly 60 years, with visits to airports and air shows (eg Farnborough 1964), photography, as a private pilot from Blackbushe, and using FlightRadar24 to keep abreast of movements.
