I don't think there was one last year but prior to that it was always a 2 day event.

Yes entirely, no fees and plenty of parking around but I do recommend getting there early. I've always managed to park beside the green but there is a large field just a little further up the road that is used.
Most of the balloons launch from on the green but if it gets crowded they also use the field where cars are parked.
I've always found it an excellent do as there are no restrictions where you can go, apart from using common sense.
There are toilets on the green, there's the pub and the cricket clubhouse which is open to everyone for food and tea/coffee.
It's a charity event with the balloonists giving their time etc for free. The monies made from the flights are all given to whatever charity is being supported at Wisborough Green.
I haven't been for about 4 years now; last year it was adverse weather on two dates; the year before I don't think there was an event scheduled but I've always found it a great event as it doesn't cost you anything. When it was a two day event I used to manage to go over both days and of course you also have Gatwick inbound right overtop.

The vagaries of the British weather. 24 hours earlier or later, and it would have been ideal.
