OY-MIT was a Biggin diversion or rather very late change of plan? It was on approach to Biggin on "base leg" about 15 miles at 2500 feet and it then went in to an S pattern over Detling and eventually diverted to FAB via the usual south coast route. As far as I'm aware there was nothing preventing it landing at Biggin at that time. It had even gone out of Biggin (to Faro?) a few days earlier.
