Hi All I am new member but pretty familiar with the Farnboro Airshow as was. With the demise of the airshow I am left wondering when the static aircraft will leave. Previously we had some departures during this week but the big tranche of static stuff on monday. I normally come along on Thursday for the displays and Monday. However I am left wondering if anything will be left by monday morning and have a wasted 2 hr journey. I am a Pegasus member so parking etc isnt a problem fortunately.
Many thanks for views and opinions
Frank

All I've seen is a part of the NATS document for the show (AERONAUTICAL INFORMATION CIRCULAR M 059/2022):
Pilots are warned that an unusually large number of departures can be expected in the vicinity of Farnborough on 23 and 24 July 2022.

ZM414 departed today (20/7), shortly after the end of the flying display.
2-RLET has also departed, @ 1737

ADSB-Exchange was showing at least one, but assume both, the F16's departing, as has the Brasilian Emb-390. From the noise over Reading about 17:55 I'm pretty certain the F15 and F35 have returned to Lakenheath too.

Confirmed - I watched all of the above depart earlier this evening, along with both A350s, the Air Baltic A220/CS300, Do328, Grob 109, Ikarus C42, Shark, 2 x Stearman, Army Historic Auster, Sioux & Scout. The 737MAX-10 also left earlier.

The US Army helicopters, the Blackhawk, Hercules, Posiedon and CASA295 all departed during the day together with the items mentioned in the posts above. I dont think there is anything left in the showground this evening although a few items remain elesewhere on the airfield. I spent over ten hours there today hoping to see MM55214 which was scheduled to depart at approx 08:00 according to FR24 but didn't. I understand that it was towed to an unknown location along with the other Aermacchi mid afternoon (during the 8 minutes I was away from the airfield!). THE AW149 and Wildcat are also believed to have been towed somewhere late afternoon. They'd been parked with engine covers on for most of the afternoon near the runway and then "disappeared" unnoticed by me. The "Super Tucano" and Hurkus were towed to the West end behind the hangars during the morning. G-NFLB and the Sea King were visible roughly in the centre of the airfield when I left (but not together).
Sorry of this post lacks a lot of detail but hopefully it gives an outline of the situation and is of use to anyone thinking of travelling far for a view during the next couple of days.
