The rumours are true! We can now confirm that tomorrow, Thursday 22nd October at 14:15 (time subject to change), Dunsfold Park will be taking delivery of retired British Airways 747, G-CIVW. The aircraft will depart Cardiff Airport on its final flight to the Aerodrome where it will begin its new life as a TV and film set.
We are really sorry but due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Aerodrome will NOT be open to spectators and anyone arriving that does not have an appointment on the business park will be turned away.

I'm as sick as a pig. I didn't know anything about it until Surrey Live came out. Virtually overhead and never even heard it. Poor coverage on both BBC and ITV. Nothing seen on their south news programmes.
