Based on recent transport, and ALTRVs, FC suggest bombers (B-52, and others?) could be heading across the pond as early as this weekend (6-7/1/18).
The B-52s are expected to be Minot examples.

According to FC, it appears a B-52 (or perhaps a few?) departed Minot AFB earlier this morning and is/are due to arrive at around midday (9/1).
Fairford is Notamed as 'open for business'.

According to Fighter Control, 60-0005 and 60-0009 made it into Fairford. 60-0012 diverted into Mildenhall. Presumably it will join its colleagues in due course!

A fourth B-52 has arrived this morning (11/1) in the form of 61-0005. Not to be confused with 60-0005!

Yet another B-52 has arrived (12/1), in the form of 61-0018. However this one is not part of the deployment. It diverted in due to a tanker issue and is allegedly on a QTR.

The four remaining, deployed B-52s departed on the morning Tuesday 29/1. They took off in stream. Not quite a Vulcan scramble, but noxious fumes aside, the resultant cloud of smoke was mightily impressive 😉
