Kalitta 405 (B747F N402KZ) is due around 1000 this morning (25/05) at Fairford from Minot AFB North Dakota. As Minot is a B-52 base, the theory is that it's bringing in support equipment for a B-52 deployment.

Putting two and two together, it would seem a possibility. Certainly, it would be nice if it turned out to be the case.

A couple more visitors today, Mon 30/5, have been:
96-0001 C17 USAF arr 06:08 N464MC B747 Atlas Air arr 17:14 / dep 20:17
I also believe that they have a dispensation for 'out of hours' ops airfield operations overnight during the bank holiday night of 30 - 31 May, which is outside of the published quiet hours. A quiet waiver has been approved for these aircraft operations.
Mmmmm, could be interesting.
