Published: 17/02/2015 - www.businesstraveller.com"Danish airline Sun-Air, a franchise partner of British Airways, will launch an eight-times weekly service between Cambridge and Gothenburg next month. The route will be operated by a 32-seat Dornier 328 jet in the morning and evening on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. It opens on March 2 and is being introduced to allow employees at biopharmaceutical firm Astra Zeneca to fly between the two cities. Stephen Humphreys, BA's head of UK and Ireland sales, said: "We are pleased to be working with Sun-Air to support the important work of British businesses, flying between Cambridge and Gothenburg." Kristian Tvergaard, Sun-Air's commercial director at Sun-Air, added: "We've worked closely with Astra Zeneca and Cambridge Airport to bring this niche but valuable market opportunity to life." This will save my brother longer journeys via STN on Ryanair at inconvenient flight times. As Astra Zeneca will support the route it should survive unlike the recent City Jet flights. John
