Two visits during a family holiday
Sun 06 August 0700-0830:
A drive around the perimeter ignoring easyjet/Ryanair/Wizz/Jet2 aircraft seen closer to home. Biz and light noted included:

D-CPTN Pc24
D-ALIK CRJ 850
VH-LON GX7500 - was at EGKB recently
OK-STS Phenom 300
M-JCBB GX7500
2-SMSN CL600
9H-DEN DA62
G-SAWI PA32
D-ECFD Aquila
Noted at Medavia - west side FBO
9H-RWM King Air- plus others not identified
9H-CTG DH8 - all white
9H-LWA DH8 - Luxwing - mainly white ex Flybe
9H-AFD DH7 - all white - other aircraft not identified
T7-AAA GX
B-603R G650
Query - derelict ATR42/72 outside Medavia , predominantly yellow with red and green stripes on tail?
Wed 09 August 0830-1200:
5A-UAB GLEX
A7-CGU G650
P4-BSA CIT 560
TS-LBG ATR72 Tunis Air
LV-GHQ A330 ARG from/to EZE, parked on main apron. I suspect a cargo flight.
OE-IPK A350 ex SAA at LH MRO
F-WJKN A350 Fiji Airways colours at LH MRO
Other days:
Flight out LGW-MLA on a BA Euroflyer flight operated by 9H-SWC of Avion Express, one of three A320s wet leased for S23.
Lots of places to stop and take photos with camera holes in many fences and a purpose built platform opposite the terminal allowing unobstructed photos over the fence. I didn't stop near the army base alongside the Medavia complex.
Medsky A320s seen on approach during the week but none at airport when visiting.
Most of the Air Malta fleet seen including assorted leased/white A320s. eg 9H-AHS
Maltese aviation wing aircraft seen flying around the island low level during the week included an Islander, Alouette and Aw139.
UK and 2 country registered King Airs seen on VRs operating ex Scilly on low level flights spotting immigrant boats from North Africa. 9H-DEN DA62 appears to op similar flights from MLA.
Small aviation museum visited at Ta'Qali to see Spitfire, Hurricane etc. Airframes more or less as per LAAS museum listing.
My first visit to Malta. Worth an aviation visit outside the summer peak period when the weather is cooler. Malta is smaller than the Isle of Wight but much busier and hotter!
