Quick visit 1145-1200 when only Aw 169s G-KSSC and G-KSST of note seen.
Bad news is the access to view the front of the hangars via the path between hangars to the former pilot hub cafe has now been removed with a pedestrian gate with a pin code installed at the car park end of the path. This makes it impossible to see any aircraft or helicopters parked outside the main row of hangars. Restricted views of the air ambulance ramp remain and car parking on a weekday remains difficult.
Vehicle access to the ramp and in turn to the control tower via the perimeter track is via a pinpad/audio barrier (like Lasham). Used by courier firms but clearly not an option for enthusiasts.

When it's turn for closure comes as Gatwick expands they will be calling on enthusiasts to support them, bye bye Redhill.

When it's turn for closure comes as Gatwick expands they will be calling on enthusiasts to support them, bye bye Redhill. I remember the good old days when I used to travel down to London from Liverpool and go to Gatwick where I'd spend the morning on the roof terrace, then get the train in the afternoon up to Salfords and walk up to Redhill, where full access was always granted and where the Tiger Club had its own hangar- how things have changed.
