The following AIC publications, AIC Mauve 021/2023 and AIC Mauve 024/2023 provide information for the Rehearsals for the Coronation Flypast and for the Flypast on Coronation Day. (AIC = Aeronautical Information Circular)Rehearsals, 25-27 April
These will be held between the 25-27 April, see AIC Mauve 021/2023, for details. This will involve large areas of Restricted Airspace (Temporary). All airspace identified within this NOTAM is to the North and East of London. Coronation Day, 6 May
This is scheduled for Saturday 6th May, see AIC Mauve 024/2023 for details. This will involve large areas of Restricted Airspace (Temporary). Airspace identified within this NOTAM is to the North of London, East of London, South of London and West of London, extending westwards to a line approximately from Boscombe Down to Swindon. Links

For the Diamond Jubilee, we had some of the transport contingent come our way at low level, then off to Brize, plus all the helicopters recovered to Odiham for refuelling, etc. A Poseidon headed W, just north of the FAB area. Anyway, one for the diary!
