It has been absolutely ages since I've visited. Although the boys were wanting to go to a museum with dinosaurs, I convinced them going to one with pre-historic aircraft would be just as good. My ruse worked a treat. In addition to the exhibits listed on the FAST website (see link below): www.airsciences.org.uk/aircraft.htmlNamely: Canberra WT309 (nose) Hunter WV383 Gnat XP516 Lightning XS420 Puma XW241 Jaguar XW566 Gazelle XW863 (unmarked) Harrier XW934 Jindivik ZJ496 Basset G-ARRM Trident G-AWZI (nose) also present were: Scouts XP848 and XT633, Hunter XL563 (dismantled), and of course, the British Army Aeroplane No 1A (The ‘Cody Flyer’) replica. Just a note to advise anyone contemplating a visit, the FAST Museum, acting under advice from HM Government, is closed for the foreseeable future because of potential risks from Covid 19. Keep an eye on our website:- www.airsciences.org.ukas to when we might re-open. Keep calm and safe. Peter Buckroyd - FAST Trustee and Volunteer
