Popham was going ahead but pilots had to book in advance so that they knew from what tier visiting pilots were flying from but then Hampshire got put into Tier 4 and the rest as they say is history.

That's going to be the problem Dave- no wiggle room when your in Tier 4 not sure what Tier Popham is actually in but I suppose a lot of the visiting pilots are currently in Tier 4. So it was definitely a no-no. Cheshire and Manchester are in Tier 3 the AVP at Manchester Airport which is in 3 and is in Cheshire is still open and has been since the 2nd of December- I e-mailed them and asked if they were still open and they confirmed they were. The shop and café selling take-away food drinks only. It's a bit of a bummer at the moment- suppose we will have to hang on for a few more months before some sort of normality comes back- hopefully before the trade fair. Fingers crossed. Bob

Bob Morning Bob,Popham is in Tier 4 so no action for the foreseeable future,on the plus side at least there were wins for Everton & Reading

Thanks Dave- no win tonight for my beloved Blues as the game against Man City has been called off due to the City team having more players having positive tests. One bright point for me today apart from the two seen going into Manchester was Delta A330 N405DX seen OTT in a brief bit of blue skies out of AMS heading to JFK Bob PS 41,000positive tests today- think the whole country will be in lockdown soon. But I've stuck to the rules and stayed indoors since the 23rd.
