Quick visit for a fish finger sandwich on my way home from Luton and Halton (for a Hunter gate guard). Cafe open for take-away - tables outside set up for patrons only.
Not much of interest noted: G-CFOJ EC155B1 Starspeed (which flew over home 2 days prior) and LX-JFS PC-12 of Jetfly dropped in noisily as I was leaving.
Entertainment during lunch was provided by a low-loader carrying a shrink-wrapped Dauphin that was trying to exit the airfield between the hangars. Presumably they had got in that way but they were struggling to get out again. Any clues as to the identity of the aircraft much appreciated - although I'll then have the dilemma re whether I actually saw it as it was completely concealed within its plastic wrapper!

An update from the ABN News magazine in September identifies the helicopter on the low loader as EC155B1 G-CKVB - departing to The Netherlands.
