There has been an accident involving a 1940s Hawker Hurricane MKI (G-HRLI – V7497) at Duxford (GB) today. Reportedly a landing gear collapsed on landing, thankfully the pilot is unharmed. It is also believed that the aircraft is repairable.
Given that it was probably rebuilt from just the con. plate, anything is possible nowadays 🤪
