Unfortunately, it appears that some of the content from the forum appears to be being 'lifted' and used by others without the appropriate recognition of the contributor / originator.
Unlike many other forums, we have endeavoured to keep the FAB group as open as possible. However, I've taken the decision to restrict access to the current month's info. to logged in members. This will be done as a trial, and we'll see where we go from there.
Whilst it may be a 'pain in the backside' for non-members, or those that have forgotten their log in details, we'll keep the matter under review to see if the restriction has a) the desired effect, and b) any other unintended consequences.
Fortunately, the use of password managers should ensure minimal disruption for 'regulars'.

Hi all as a member I abide by the house rules and respect the function of this site As there is only 3 choices to vote on I've gone option 2 as it best reflects the purpose of this wonderful forum Logged in members should have unlimited access in a perfect world but unscrupulous additions seem to be heel bent on disrupting the status quo As its a democracy I will abide by the result but hope all genuine members still feel safe and continue to contribute to our wonderful hobby/passion Keep the faith Regards tim

These lists are invaluable and obviously majority will decide the decision concerning format etc.Thank you to the people that make them possible they are greatly appreciated by myself and I am sure I speak for all spotters who use these lists long may they continue.

Excellent forum and the amount of time/effort put in by Andy/mods etc is much appreciated. As a relatively long distance member, the info on here is hugely appreciated.
I do not understand why stuff is ‘hijacked’ to elsewhere...but then I am an old fart and nit that media savvy.
Andy...do what must be done to protect this forum.

Andy- Fully agree with the previous comments- readers- members or non-members can never say that they have not been told on numerous occasions by yourself and the rest of the team - not to hi-jack information- I too voted number two. One positive to come out- is that enthusiasts who have just viewed the Group in the past and have not joined -are now appearing to join in droves. That also happened with the AFA site. Which unfortunately unlike our site blocked every part of their excellent Group to all non-members. Keep on with the excellent work you do on a daily basis- it is appreciated. Onwards and Upwards Bob

Well, almost a month has passed and the 'scores on the doors' are in.
Option 2, which is how the board currently operates (with access only restricted to the current month's Farnborough movements), is the clear favourite.
Originally, after the trial, I was inclined to open the forum back up to how it used to be, with visitors able to view everything (but not post). However, given the overwhelming strength of feeling, and the encouragement the present arrangement gives visitors to sign up and become members, I intend to make the trial permanent.
Thanks for your continued support, and enjoy the forum.
