2019 was a busy year- with weddings home and abroad, birthdays (My beloved 60), not forgetting having to work, and attending the odd soccer match (x20) and concerts (x5), most of my planned aviation events, were blessed with good weather except Popham which was freezing.
May:- Popham (Tradefair) plus FAB, Blackbushe, Lasham & Kemble then Old Warden for the Gyro Gathering, plus Cranfield, Luton, Husbands Bosworth, EMA.
June:- Duxford for the Daks over Normandy event, plus Luton, Husbands Bosworth & EMA. Followed by Turweston for the Air Britain Fly in.
July:- It was RIAT at a sunny Fairford.
October:- Kemble plus Fairford (For B52’s) and Wellesbourne.
Holidays:- Lanzarote and Cyprus (Nieces Wedding)
In addition to the above a few visits to Liverpool and Manchester as well as being lazy sat in my man cave most afternoons after work, when it was nice, watching the airways. However ended up being a good year made just over 1500 registrations. No plans so far for 2020 except the LAA Rally.
Balloons are in my radar for 2020- having only made TWO since 2016
Happy Spotting for 2020 and I hope all our members and their families have a very Happy and Healthy New Year-Up the Toffees.

Reference trips out in 2020- will be missing the following- due to cutting down on my long journeys- Popham (Trade Fair), Aero Expo, Farnborough, Air Britain Flying, and maybe Fairford (RIAT). With regard to the latter will be waiting to see what the theme for the show is. With no disrespect to you guys in the south- these are quite easy for you to get too, but are 400 mile plus round trips for myself, plus hotel accommodation. But will do others as said will definitely be doing the LAA Rally in September plus hopefully the odd Balloon event- weather permitting of course. Target for Cops for 2020- will be happy with a 1000+ Bob
