Quick visit for a couple of 737 and Thomas Cook Airbuses.
Noted from village side: G-HEVI 737 2-JZBI 737 (Jet Airways colours) (G-TCVD) A321 (Thomas Cook colours) - hard to read but fairly sure it was "D"
Noted from flying club side: N882AA Premier
(9H-ZAK) 737 (based on check of colour scheme) - I read this as something like "9H-VDX" and see from another report that 9H-VOX has been noted - can anyone confirm the id?
From right to left in distance: G-TCVA A321, 2 more Thomas Cook tails behind the earth bank, another Thomas Cook A321 to left of the Burkina Faso 727, and another Thomas Cook tail visible above the hangars (could have been G-TCVD already noted from the village side). Can anyone confirm where G-TCVB and G-TCVC are parked and whether I identified 'VA and 'VD correctly.
Just to note if parking up on the village side try not to block the gate that goes into a field and stables on the right as you face the airfield. I had parked so as not to block the entrance but the lady who turned up to go into the stables assumed I had blocked the way in - not a problem when she saw I had left space but she did say that the entrance has been blocked on plenty of occasions.
Second note: the garden centre just up the road from the airfield has excellent value cooked breakfasts and plenty of other options.
HTH

Hi Nick
I visited Lasham on Friday and can confirm the following
Your B737 is 9H-VOX The 3 Thomas Cook in a group to the front and right as seen from flying club side, G-TCVA, G-NIKO & G-DHJH G-TCVC is the A321 to the left of the BF 727 G-TCVD is the A321 tucked in by the hangers and would be partially visible from Village gate G-TCVB is remote parked to the left (from the flying club) near where the Niger B737 is rotting away.
Hope that helps
