Until I get around to putting up a decent external aerial for my SBS set up, I have the normal mag mount aerial on a metal biscuit tin and this is good enough for local contacts [I'm in Farnborough]
Had a strange contact this afternoon around about 16.00 onwards [and still showing as I type this at 16.20]
38BFFC with F-JUTD in the call sign box. Anyone any ideas what this might be?? [with heights between 1800-3500']

Hi Samolot,
F-J sequence are french Microlight's, and I believe they are registered F-Jxxx with the xxx being the Provence ( French Equivalent to our county ) that the aircraft is based in and also a registration sequence.
Also some may not wear this registration externally, which makes it hard to pin it down to a particular type....
Cheers
Adrian
