I use Paintshop Pro for post-processing and have done for sometime with two different cameras. I upload pics to ABPics, which requires file size of no more than 500kb. Paintshop Pro enables me to reduce file size very quickly and easily...... until the last few days when I have had several pics rejected by AB. The problem is pixelation, i.e. you can see pixels on the pics. Also, sky scenes are not smooth, but have clumps of varying colours where the clouds should be. Here's a typical example: Would anyone have any idea why this is happening please? Many thanks.. Bren

Bren,
Have you checked the File format that paintshop is saving the image as, has not been altered from JPEG or TIFF ? I had a similar problem a while back, and found that the default file type to save had for some reason changed to GIF and not JPEG !!
Cheers
Adrian

Thanks Adrian but that's not the problem. It saves the pics as JPEG OK but something is obviously wrong with colour smoothing.
