Spurred on by Graham's recent visit, I thought I'd take a trip to Bomber County on 9/9:
Waddington
3xAMI Typhoons MM7291 4-11 MM7299 4-41 MM7303 4-2
ZM336 Phenom RAF
The other Phenom had 'limped' back to Cranwell during the week, following a 'spot of bother' whilst practising for the RAF100 flypast. It is thought that the two (ZM335 & 336) collided mid-air.
Coningsby
8xGAF Tornados 43+25 45+39 46+23 46+35 46+36 46+40 46+44 46+56
8xGAF Typhoons 30+46 30+49 30+60 30+62 30+64 30+73 30+84 31+21
... and as Embraer's Hawker Hunter chase plane (PP-XXH ex XE704, J-736) has been delivered to Hawker Hunter Aviation at Scampton over the course of the last week, I thought I'd try my luck there.
Sadly, it wasn't visible, but the following were noted outside HHA's compound on the north-western side of the airfield:
Scampton
37+89 F-4F ex GAF J-4110 Hunter ex Swiss AF (98+14) Su-22 ex EGAF (XX885) Buccaneer ex RAF
