A traffic order has been posted by Rushmoor Council at Eelmoor Bridge regards Air Show restrictions.
In particular the temp bridge will be in use from Monday 4th June, from when no parking will be allowed along Laffan's lane (ie Eelmoor spot).
Also from the same date the continuous barrier along the centre line of the Fleet road (opposite Eelmoor Bridge) will be in effect, so no right turn from Aldershot into Laffan's Lane, or out of Laffan's Lane towards Fleet.

Hi, just been walking dog at Eelmoor . Ok (currently) to park by fence but second bridge in use and hi-viz clad peeps in abundance. 1 way barriers in middle of road as per previous years. Bushes inside of fence need a bit of weed killer I think! Tony

I understand the bushes inside of the fence will be dealt with post airshow as the guys responsible are busy elsewhere over the next month.

The signs have gone up to announce the closure of Queen's Gate Road, in the section that runs between The Aviator Hotel and the airfield boundary, between 9-25 July.
Does anyone know if the bollards have been removed in Laffans Road, between the Army Golf Club and the AAIB? Was thinking of having a look at teatime, but time was pressing.

And there was I circumnavigating the airfield in an anticlockwise direction over the same period. What a numpty 😉 I'm guessing that as soon as the right hand turn ban is introduced on the Fleet Road, the bollard is lowered.
