Air Astana has announced planned service expansion on Astana – London Heathrow route, where it plans to offer daily operation from 01JUN18. The airline’s Boeing 757 aircraft currently serve this route 5 times a week.

Tianjin Airlines in last week’s schedule update opened reservation for London Heathrow service, where the airline schedules Tianjin – Xi’An – London Heathrow route, twice a week. This replace the airline’s previous plan to serve London Gatwick.
From 07MAY18, Airbus A330-200 aircraft will operate this route.

Thai Airways International during the month of March and April 2018 is adjusting Airbus A380 operations.
Bangkok – London Heathrow A380 operates TG916/917, instead of TG910/911 (TG910/911 operated by 777-300ER during this period)

Iberia this week opened reservation on flights operated by its new Airbus A350-900XWB aircraft, set to enter service in July 2018. With the configuration of J31W24Y293, planned A350-900XWB operation includes the following:
Madrid – London Heathrow 20JUL18 – 31AUG18 IB3166 (Except 04AUG18 – 16AUG18. IB3167 from LHR currently continues to display A340-600 service)

Air Canada in last week’s schedule update filed planned aircraft changes for Halifax – London Heathrow route, effective 04APR18 (LHR departure 05APR18). Current Boeing 767 service will switch to the new 737 MAX 8, operating on daily basis.
Including St. John’s NFLD – London Heathrow route (from 30APR18), Business Class cabin is sold as Premium Economy on the Boeing 737 operating flights.

IBERIA in recent weeks extended planned 346-seater A340-600 operation, under the aircraft code 345. The oneWorld member previously filed last “345” operating flight on 15JUN18, however this has been extended to 27OCT18 (MAD departure).
Madrid – London Heathrow Various flights until 15JUN18
The airline continues to operate 359-seater A340-600 aircraft, under aircraft code “346”. Operational routing and frequencies remain highly possible.

Virgin Atlantic last week opened reservation for its planned 2nd daily London Heathrow – Johannesburg flight, scheduled for Northern winter 2018/19 season, effective from 28OCT18. The new flight will be using the new flight number range with VS4xx.

Malaysia Airlines last week once again revised planned Airbus A380 operation during summer season, for Kuala Lumpur – London Heathrow route. The airline previously planned to operate A380 on MH002/003 service from 20JUL18 to 03SEP18 (KUL departure), however latest adjustment now sees the A380 operating from 20JUL18 to 05AUG18 and from 15AUG18 to 28AUG18.

Emirates Airlines in late-June 2018 scheduled one-time 2-class Airbus A380 service on Dubai – London Heathrow route, reflected in recent schedule update. On 24JUN18, the 615-seater aircraft will operate EK005/006 service, replacing 3-class aircraft.

British Airways on Sunday (15APR18) inaugurated Airbus A320neo aircraft, which saw the aircraft operating London Heathrow – Lisbon route. As of 17APR18, planned British Airways A320neo operation in summer 2018 season as follows.

Cathay Pacific in the last few days gradually outlined planned operation with its re-configured Boeing 777-300 and -300ER, featuring 3-4-3 layout in Economy Class (instead of 3-3-3). The re-configured aircraft is gradually loaded in the reservation system as well as the OAG, starting June 2018.
Current schedule is updated until 28OCT18, and service entry date is likely to move forward. Included amongst these changes is:

Air China during the month of July and August 2018 plans to increase Beijing – London Heathrow service, which sees 3rd daily service scheduled on selected dates, between 16JUL18 and 13AUG18. Operated by A330-300 aircraft, CA615/616 will be operating on following dates: 16JUL18, 17JUL18, 23JUL18, 26JUL18, 27JUL18, 30JUL18, 01AUG18, 03AUG18, 05AUG18, 07AUG18 – 10AUG18, 12AUG18, 13AUG18.
